Sagittarius

Sagittarius excels in careers that offer freedom, travel, and intellectual stimulation. In Greek mythology, Sagittarius is associated with the centaur Chiron, the wisest and most civilized of all centaurs. Unlike other centaurs who were wild and unruly, Chiron was a great healer, astrologer, and teacher who mentored heroes like Achilles, Jason, and Asclepius. When Chiron was accidentally wounded by one of Heracles' poisoned arrows, the wound could not heal because the arrow was tipped with the Hydra's venom. Being immortal, Chiron could not die but suffered endlessly. He eventually gave up his immortality to free Prometheus, and Zeus honored his sacrifice by placing him among the stars. The myth embodies Sagittarius themes of wisdom, teaching, sacrifice, and the quest for higher meaning.
