About This Game

The game takes place 100 years after the original Jade Cocoon, in a time when "BeastHunters" have replaced the old Cocoon Masters. The protagonist is a young aspirant named Kahu, who visits the Temple of Kemuel to become a BeastHunter but is quickly afflicted by a parasitic curse. He is given a short time to live and must venture into four elemental forests (fire, water, earth, and wind) to find magical orbs to save himself and ultimately the world. The story features full 3D polygonal worlds, voice-overs, and character designs by Katsuya Kondō, known for his work with Studio Ghibli.
